Share a Digital Receipt to the Expense App

If you receive multiple receipts as PDFs or through a digital receipt app, such as Kivra, you can easily share them directly to the Expense app for seamless processing.

Option 1: Send the Receipt via Email

If you have received your receipt via email, follow these steps:

  1. Verify your email address in your Expense account.
  2. Forward the email with the receipt attached to kvitto@expense.se.
  3. The receipt will be registered in Expense and can then be processed according to your organization's procedures.

Option 2: Share a PDF from Your Phone

If your receipt is saved as a PDF on your phone, you can share it directly to the Expense app by following these steps:

  1. Open the PDF file on your phone.
  2. Select the Share attachment option.
  3. In the list of apps, choose Expense app.
  4. The Expense app will open – fill in the following details:
    • Date
    • Amount
    • Comment (optional)
  5. Tap Save.

If the receipt is linked to a corporate card

  • The receipt will be stored in Expense and will wait to be matched with the corresponding card transaction.

If you need to register the receipt as an expense claim

  • If your organization has activated expense claims in Expense, you can select Personal funds, and the receipt will be registered directly as an expense, allowing you to finalize the registration.

Option 3: Share a Receipt from Kivra or Another Digital Receipt App

If your receipt is stored in Kivra or another digital receipt app, you can easily share it to Expense by following these steps:

  1. Open the receipt in Kivra or your receipt app.
  2. Select Share.
  3. In the list of apps, choose Expense app.
  4. The Expense app will open – fill in the following details:
    • Date
    • Amount
    • Comment (optional)
  5. Tap Save.

If the receipt is linked to a corporate card

  • The receipt will be stored in Expense and will wait to be matched with the corresponding card transaction.

Additional Ways to Register Receipts

Regardless of how you receive your digital receipt, you can register it in Expense in several ways:

  • Share the receipt directly to the Expense app following the steps above.
  • Email the receipt to kvitto@expense.se if it was sent to your email.
  • Take a screenshot of the receipt and attach it in the Expense app for your records.

These options make it easy and efficient for you to manage your digital receipts and ensure proper accounting.
