To send receipts by email to Expense, you must first verify your email address. Follow the steps below for a quick and easy verification.
Steps to Verify Your Email Address

Open the Expense App
Go to the menu and select Verify Email Address. -
Enter the Verification Code
A verification code will be sent to your provided email address. Enter the code in the app and press Verify.
Once your email is verified, you can easily send receipts directly to kvitto@expense.se or receipt@expense.se.
Tip:
To allow Expense to automatically match the receipt to the correct transaction, enter the purchase amount (with decimals) in the subject line when sending the receipt.
Add Additional Email Addresses
If you receive receipts at other email addresses (e.g., a personal address), you can add these in Expense for smoother handling.
- In the app, go to My > Settings > Add Email Address.
- Add your extra email address and complete the verification process for each address.
Adding multiple verified email addresses ensures that all your receipts, regardless of which address they’re sent from, are received and processed correctly in the Expense system.
