To get started with emailing receipts directly to the Expense app, you first need to verify your email address.

To get started with emailing receipts directly to the Expense app, you first need to verify your email address. Follow these steps:

Send Digital Receipts to Expense

  1. Verify your email address in the Expense app:

    • Open the Expense app.
    • Go to the settings to verify your email address.
  2. Enter the verification code:

    • Check your email for a verification code sent by Expense.
    • Enter the code in the app to complete the verification.
  3. Send in receipts via email:

    • Once your email address is verified, you can send receipts to kvitto@expense.se or receipt@expense.se.
    • Include the purchase amount with decimals directly in the subject line. This helps Expense automatically match the receipt to the correct transaction.

Tip: Add Additional Verified Email Addresses

If you use multiple email addresses for receiving receipts (e.g., your personal email), you can add more verified addresses in Expense:

  • Go to My > Settings > Add email address in the Expense app to add additional email addresses.

With these simple steps, you can easily send and manage your receipts directly in the Expense app.
